About Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors MLCC - SMD/SMT

Multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) are small, surface-mount capacitors commonly used in consumer electronics and circuit boards. They are constructed with layers of ceramic material and metal electrode plates, with the ceramic layers providing dielectric insulation between the plates. MLCCs are fashioned with leads in the process prior to packaging, which allows for surface mounting onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). They are also sometimes constructed with a built-in polarized case, which helps identify the positive and negative terminals. This makes them ideal for use in applications such as electric motor control equipment, embedded systems, and wireless communications. Due to their small size and relatively low cost, they have become widely used across a variety of industries.
